« Endroit très sympathique, beaucoup de cachet, un vieil hotel plein de charme, très bien entretenu. Plusieurs améliorations apportées pour augmenter le confort. Restaurant attenant très apprécié. »

« Très bruyant, les lumières en tremblaient et malgré une plainte à la réception rien n'a changé. »

« Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!! »

« It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. « Séjour très agréable et communication facile avec l'hôte. Très belle cabine et à distance de marche du village. Par contre, près du chemin de fer mais ça ne nous a pas dérangé vraiment. »

« Enjoyed our stay at you house on Sacandaga lake. It was roomy with lots of extra amenities. The ac was a plus during our stay as the weather was steamy! »

« It was a nice place. Super comfortable beds and the bunk bed for the kids is a nice addition. »

« 2nd time staying here. Will be back!! »

« A unique redo of a one room school house. Top amenities and facilities. As two retired teachers, and married for 52 years, we really enjoyed the experience. »

« There is no way they should charge what they charged for 1 night stay. »

« If we could rate Bonnie and Steve higher than 5 stars we would. They were great communicaters before our trip and were nothing but warm and welcoming from the moment we got there. The house was great but what really makes the property is the location and outdoor space. The grounds were amazing and were great for relaxing, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with friends and family. If you're looking for a remote stay that's not too far from a grocery store, gas stations, ice cream shops,...
